#day5-Boqiy Buxoro

Today, we visited the impressive Boqiy Bukhoro (Eternal Bukhara) monument, located in the Globus complex of Bukhara. It is one of the most meaningful and symbolic places in the city, representing the everlasting spirit, history, and love for the homeland.

At the center of the complex stands a beautiful and emotional statue of a mother. The woman is shown holding her hands up in prayer, symbolizing peace, kindness, and the deep love of a mother for her children and for her country. Her face looks calm yet strong, expressing the eternal care and blessing that every mother gives.

Behind the statue, there is a large globe — the Earth — which symbolizes Bukhara’s connection with the world. The combination of the mother figure and the globe perfectly represents the message of eternal life, unity, and the idea that Bukhara’s culture and spirit reach far beyond borders.

The area around the monument is clean, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful gardens and fountains. Many people visit this place to relax, take photos, and feel proud of their homeland. The atmosphere there is full of harmony and respect — it makes you stop for a moment and think about the values of love, family, and history.

Our guide explained that the monument was built to honor the greatness of Bukhara and the strength of Uzbek women — the mothers who raise generations with wisdom, patience, and faith. It stands not only as a symbol of the city but also as a reminder of national pride and unity.

As we left, the sun was setting behind the statue, painting the sky in golden colors. The “Boqiy Bukhoro” monument looked even more powerful and sacred in that light. It truly represents the soul of Bukhara — eternal, beautiful, and full of love.
